The Wild Coast Sun Country Club features a spectacular championship golf course, set inone of the most scenic locations in the world, with variations in landscape on every tee. 

The sweeping par 70 course, which was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jnr, is intended to offer the golfer the enjoyment and the challenge of the varying terrain and conditions. The course has been laid out in order to allow golfers maximum enjoyment of the natural surroundings.

The course is played off the men’s tee to a length of 5329m and 4579m for women.  The greens and fairways are maintained in tournament condition at all times.  All the greens have been planted with “Country Club” grass (a strain of Paspolum) and the fairways are planted with the hardy Cynodin all meeting PGA standards.

Signatures features include lakes, gullies thick with natural vegetation out of bounds areas running close to fairways: areas of indigenous bush.  Possibly the greatest challenge while playing at Wild coast Sun is to conquer the prevailing winds add an entirely new dimension to the course.

A pulting green is situated close to the club house.  The club house bar, built overlooking the spectacular 18th , provides breathtaking vistas over the majority of the back nine of the course.  A practice driving area is available, located just beyond the tenth tee.
