The Boardwalk Conference Centre

In 2005 The Boardwalk Conference Centre became the first conference centre in the Eastern Cape to be awarded Five Star grading by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa.
PMR Awards include:
- 2003 Golden Arrow award for the 2nd best Conference Centre in the Eastern Cape.
- 2004 and 2005 Golden Arrow award as the best Conference Centre in the Eastern Cape.
- 2006 Diamond award as the best Conference Centre in the Eastern Cape.
The Conference Centre is managed by Fedics on behalf of The Boardwalk and has its own dedicated entrance and free public parking. Facilities include the main Tsitsikamma Conference Room, two breakaway meeting rooms and one boardroom. The Tsitsikamma Conference Room has the standard audio visual equipment to offer. Should specialised equipment, décor or entertainment be required, this can be outsourced on behalf of the conference co-ordinator. All the walls of the rooms are tastefully designed in fabric; the air-conditioning can be controlled, as well as the lighting (seven dimmer switch). It is a high-profile meeting place for the business and social sectors of the province.

Accommodation for your conference is catered for in the four hotels located on and close to The Boardwalk complex.
The Boardwalk Casino and Entertainment World is easily accessible from the airport or the main highway leading into Port Elizabeth. Delegates can arrive at the Conference Centre within 15 minutes of landing. The Boardwalk is the perfect base from which to explore the rest of Nelson Mandela Bay – the home of Port Elizabeth, Uitenhage and Despatch. From jet skiing, sailing, snorkelling, scuba diving, fishing, surfing, or swimming in the sea, to wild game viewing and golfing, there is plenty of space to relax.
